ABOUT THE PRESENTER:
Mike O’Neill is a retired accountant with a technology background. After retiring Mike and his partner Mary moved to Nanaimo on Vancouver Island, Mary encouraged him to expand his garden knowledge and he completed the classroom training and VIMGA Intern experience requirements and became a Certified Master in 2017. He has held various positions with Vancouver Island Master Gardeners and now serves as the President. He enjoys lifelong learning and sharing his experience and knowledge with others.
ABOUT VIMGA:
The Vancouver Island Master Gardeners Association (VIMGA) is a chapter of the Master Gardeners Association, an international service society of specially trained volunteers who teach science-based sustainable gardening practices to home gardeners. VIMGA is one of the 5 chapters in the British Columbia Association and partnering with the Victoria chapter, specializes in the stewardship of Vancouver Island’s unique environment.
