Woss
The land on which we gather is the unceded traditional territory of the Kwakwaka’wakw peoples, specifically the Namgis nation, whose historical relationships with the land continue to this day.
The Woss library was originally staffed by volunteers for one hour a week in the old kindergarten building. The library branch moved to its current location in 2001.
The beautiful, new Woss Library building opened on December 18, 2020.
Please note that our Meeting Space Guidelines are currently under review. Library programming in meeting rooms is continuing. Only room bookings by pre-existing VIRL partners will be honoured and accepted at this time. Thank you for your patience. If you have any questions about Meeting Space bookings, please contact us at info@virl.bc.ca.
