Join us at the Port Hardy Library for our second annual letter-writing event in support of human rights. We’ll have refreshments, a prize draw, and fun swag to give away, as our library community comes together to have our say and demand justice.
All around the world, people are threatened, imprisoned, and even killed, because of their peaceful activism on behalf of children, LGBTQ+ people, free speech, or the environment, or for exposing crimes such as human trafficking. You enjoy your own human rights every day. Why not use them to help someone who can’t?
Everything you need will be supplied. All you have to do is show up and write a letter or two.
