Frogs Fell from the Sky: Fiction in Poetry
a poetry circle with Mary Ann Moore

We will gather in a circle to celebrate and discover the many gifts and surprises of fiction in poetry.

There are all sorts of changed or imagined elements in a poem, as well as aspects that simply arrive when one lets the poem lead the way. Poems can contain “small fictions,” arrive as gifts and epiphanies, be prescient at times, as well as become re-envisioned realities. You may ask yourself as you draft new poems: Is this fiction or my own wise advice?  Bring your notebook and pen, your curiosity, and be open to some new discoveries.
