Join us for the a new afternoon edition of meeting of Reader’s Choice book club! This February we are having an afternoon meeting at 2pm at the Nanaimo Harbourfront Library (in addition to, not instead of the usual evening meeeting).
Want to talk about what you’re reading but don’t want to be told what to read? This is the book club for you!
If you attended one of previous meetings, bring along your reading prompt list and what you’ve been reading. If this is your first time, bring your current or recent read to share with the group. See an image of the reading prompt list below and pick up your copy at the meeting.
You can read any book that fits any prompt, whatever month you want. Then you can compare notes with bookish friends at our meetings! The idea is to have fun parameters to help you decide what to read next, but not to force you to read anything you don’t want to.
Drinks and snacks to share will be provided by the library.
