Read with Toby!
Paws 4 Stories is a program for children ages 7+. Young readers can bring a book and sign up for a 10-minutes reading session with Toby, a trained St. John’s Ambulance therapy dog!
Toby loves listening to stories and meeting new friends!
Availability will be on a first come, first serve basis, drop ins welcome!
In this program, a certified, friendly therapy dog sits with a child to help the child practice reading aloud. This is a great program for motivating and providing confidence to children who are hesitant or anxious about reading.
Children must be accompanied by an adult to participate in this program.
