Following the Provincial Medical Health Officer orders, masks are now required when visiting the library. This is in addition to physical distancing, occupancy limits, and other safety measures.
A properly worn mask covers your nose and face at all times. Masks are available.

We are open for Walkthrough Service: small collection available for browsing, holds pick up, and self-checkout available.
Please bring your library card with you!
Other services now available include:
Grab & Go: Our librarians are thinking of you! We have a large selection of (ever-changing) themed bunches of 5 or more items for adults, teens, and children. Browse the whiteboard outside the door to see what’s available, and check out a Grab & Go selection during our new branch hours. We will check the items out to you as usual and you can return them together or separately.
Book Bundles: Looking for something a little more specific but not quite sure what? Get a customized bundle of books (and/or magazines, dvds, audiobooks, etc) made up just for you! Fill out a form telling us a bit about your preferences and a librarian will browse the shelves of the Campbell River branch and put together a bundle of materials tailored to your tastes. Forms for children, teens and adults can be picked up and dropped off during our new branch hours, or fill out a Bundle request form online for Children or Adults.
The book drop is open during our open hours. If you have any questions, please contact us!
About the Branch
We respectfully acknowledge that this branch is situated on the unceded traditional territory of the Laichwiltach peoples, specifically the Wei Wai Kum First Nation, whose historical relationships with the land continue to this day. The Campbell River branch serves the second largest population in our library system. For a community that is poised to grow and evolve in the years ahead, the library is evolving in tandem with the resources it offers, the spaces it provides, and the role it serves in this dynamic and diverse community.
