Campbell River

Following the Provincial Medical Health Officer orders, masks are now recommended — and appreciated — when visiting the library. This is in addition to physical distancing, occupancy limits, and other safety measures.

A properly worn mask covers your nose and mouth at all times. Masks are available. Speak to a member of staff.

We are open for Sit Down Service: full browsing, holds pick up, and self-checkout available. Public Computers are also available.

Please bring your library card with you!

The book return is available Mondays 9am to Saturdays 5pm.  The book return is closed Saturday evenings and all Sundays and Statutory Holidays.

About the Branch

We respectfully acknowledge that this branch is situated on the unceded traditional territory of the Laichwiltach peoples, specifically the Wei Wai Kum First Nation, whose historical relationships with the land continue to this day. The Campbell River branch serves the second largest population in our library system. For a community that is poised to grow and evolve in the years ahead, the library is evolving in tandem with the resources it offers, the spaces it provides, and the role it serves in this dynamic and diverse community.
