*NEW* Library Mending Circle

Saturdays, Oct. 17 & Nov. 21, 2 – 3:30 pm

Sidney / North Saanich Library – Nell Horth Room (10091 Resthaven Dr., Sidney)

Breathe new life into old textiles! Learn and practice hand-sewing techniques including visible mending, Kantha, Sashiko, darning, weaving, appliqué, and embroidery in a friendly, supportive space. Bring a small project to mend, or come simply to learn, stitch, and connect.

Skilled members of the Repair Café will be on hand to share tips and help you get started. Needles, thread, and basic supplies provided.

All ages and skill levels welcome—from complete beginners to experienced sewers. Let’s rethink, repair, and celebrate the joy of making things last.
