Join craft artist Lorrie Joran for these two amazing workshops on May 24th at the CMESS School Multi-Purpose Room.
Needle Felting (10am – Noon); Learn the art of needle felting and create a mushroom, owl, gnome or a penguin. All materials are provided. If you sign up for both workshops, your felt creation can be part of the Miniature Making.
Miniature Making (1-3pm); Learn about scale and how to create an artful montage and/ or a diorama using miniatures from ‘junk’ and recyclables. Materials are provided with the (encouraged) option to bring small items from home. Lorrie suggests finding items in a junk drawer, jewelry box, anything diminutive in size that would fit into a theme of your choice.
These workshops are Adult/Teen oriented (12 years old and up) and registration is required for both workshops as space is limited. To register contact the Tahsis Library branch directly at 250 934 6621.
