Join Campbell River’s aquarium team that take a science-based approach to the popular children’s book ‘Sharing a Shell’ by Julia Donaldson. While the book can be viewed simply from the perspective of ‘friendship’, we will be discussing the ideas of animals cooperating to survive (symbiosis), predator/prey interactions, and habitat. We will get the chance to meet the story’s main characters in our intertidal touch tanks and make our very own hermit crab puppet craft!
