DESCRIPTION:Join Campbell River’s aquarium team that take a science-based approach to the popular children’s book ‘Sharing a Shell’ by Julia Donaldson. While the book can be viewed simply from the perspective of ‘friendship’\, we will be discussing the ideas of animals cooperating to survive (symbiosis)\, predator/prey interactions\, and habitat. We will get the chance to meet the story’s main characters in our intertidal touch tanks and make our very own hermit crab puppet craft!\nAges 0-12. Registration required. Sign up below.
