Join author Kathy Harms at the Parksville library as she shares the story of her parents as told in her new book, By Happenstance.
The book grew out of a two-year Substack project where her parents’ stories were shared chapter by chapter as they were written. Through that process, an audience was found well beyond their family – readers who recognized their own relatives in these stories. Her talk will center around the value of sitting down with the people you love and asking questions while you still can.
The event will include a short reading, a talk about the project and the process behind it, and a signing. All are welcome to attend!
