Calling all poetry lovers and local writers! Join us at the Courtenay Library on Saturday, September 26th at 2:00 p.m. for an inspiring afternoon of verse with Kamal Parmar, the former Poet Laureate of Nanaimo.
Parmar will be sharing selections from Silent Serenade, taking the audience on a lyrical journey through her evocative and deeply reflective work. Following her featured reading, the floor will be turned over to the community for an Open Mic session. All local poets, both seasoned and aspiring, are warmly invited to step up to the mic and share their own original pieces in a supportive, creative environment.
