Join us at the Parksville Library for a special Halloween-season reading with British Columbia author Tyrone Camp.
Camp will read from his books Dead and the Miser and 31 West Pender, works of fiction rooted in B.C. history, street-level survival, crime, loyalty, and the complicated bonds people form when ordinary systems fail them.
Stories from the margins, written with grit, memory, and consequence.
Camp’s writing explores the darker corners of life with a sharp eye for humour, danger, damage, and unexpected humanity. His stories bring together memorable characters and the history of places shaped by struggle, loyalty, and survival.
With Halloween just around the corner, this reading offers an afternoon of darker B.C. stories and a chance to hear Camp’s work in his own voice.
Everyone is welcome to drop in to this free event. It will be held in the lounge area by the front Checkout Desk.
