VHS Conversion
Using the Elgato Video Capture, you can digitize video from a VCR, camcorder and other analogue video sources for playback. Elgato Video Capture uses easy to use software that allows for the conversion of analogue to digital. Here are 6 easy steps to use the Elgato Video Conversion.
Using the Digital Conversion
- The Digital Conversion can be booked ahead of time for up to three hours per day.
- Remote VHS conversion options are also available for up to two VHS at a time, please print and sign the waiver and attach to your VHS when you bring it to your library. Contact cc@virl.bc.ca or call 1-877-415-8475 to find out more.
Rules for using the Conversion Clinic
- You must have an active Vancouver Island Regional Library card.
- You must be 13 years or older or accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.
