Nanaimo Wellington

We respectfully acknowledge that this branch is situated on the unceded traditional territory of the Coast Salish peoples, specifically the Snuneymuxw First Nation, whose historical relationships with the land continue to this day.

Nanaimo Wellington branch is located in Country Club Centre, halfway between downtown and the north end of the city. In May 2017, the library moved from its former location on Barons Road, where it had been since 1979, to its current location across the street at Country Club Centre.

COVID 19

Wearing a mask is now optional in the library.  Masks are available. Speak to any member of staff.

Our branch is fully open. Don’t forget your library card.  Holds pick up, full browsing of the collection, and self-checkout available. Themed Grab & Go Bags of 3 or more books for a range of audiences and interests are available for quick and convenient checkout.
