NEW Houseplant Storytime

With the wild success of the Virtual Gardening Series and seed libraries, Vancouver Island Regional Library (VIRL) is launching its first Houseplant Storytime series. 
“We know plants thrive when we sing and talk to them, so we thought this would be a great program and something the community would really enjoy,” said Sloof Lirpa, librarian. “It’s also a wonderful way for plant parents to connect.”
We invite plant parents to bring their potted plants into their local branch for the one-hour Storytime program, beginning next Saturday, April 8. This is program is suitable for all houseplants, although we do ask the public does not bring any carnivorous plants. Happy April Fools’ Day.
