Media Invite: Book Club Gala Hosted by CBC Radio’s Shelagh Rogers

Sidney, BC – Vancouver Island Regional Library (VIRL) and Seaside Magazine have teamed up to offer a Book Club Gala hosted by CBC Radio’s Shelagh Rogers. This now sold out event runs from 3 – 5pm on Saturday, April 1 at the SHOAL Centre (10030 Resthaven Drive) and invites book clubs throughout the community to come together for a fun celebration of the joy of reading.
In addition to learning more about the amazing and varied book clubs in the area, attendees will also have a chance to get a preview of some of the incredible authors coming to the Sidney Litfest (April 20 – 22), enjoy some refreshments — including beer from Sidney’s very own literary-themed Small Gods Brewery — and have a chance to win some amazing door prizes.
