Give Us Your Best Meme Contest

February 14, 2022

How’s your meme game? You could win!

We’ve gone fine free this year, but we also need to remind people to return their books on time so others can enjoy them.

That’s where YOU come in. Design an amusing, fun and memorable meme to help encourage people to return their library material and be entered into a contest where you could win one of three fantastic prizes.

Contest dates: The meme contests starts on Tuesday, February 15 and ends at 11:59 p.m. Friday, February 25. Winners will be notified through a private message on Facebook and announced on our social channels by Monday, March 07.

How to enter:

Make your meme using public domain, copyright-free images. Memes should inspire people to bring their materials back to the library and should be library appropriate.

Share your meme in the comments of our contest post on Vancouver Island Regional Library + Fans Facebook Page. If you don’t have Facebook, you can email your meme to communications@virl.bc.ca and we can share it on our social channels and credit you for the submission. Your meme should be 1200 by 1200 pixels.

Each entrant can submit up to three (3) memes.

No purchase necessary.
