Correction to BCGEU Local 702 strike notice against Vancouver Island Regional Library Media Release
We just received confirmation from the Labour Relations Board informing us that the notice of strike for BC General Employees’ Union Local 702 (BCGEU) was filed this morning (February 28, 2022) at 8am, meaning the job action can now occur starting at 8am on Thursday, March 3.
Our previous understanding was that the strike could occur this afternoon.
