Canada Post Strike service notice

Due to the ongoing Canada Post strike and delays and disruptions in delivery, the following services remain affected:

- Books by Mail: Customers will be able to place holds on items but will not be delivered. We are actively working on alternative solutions.
- Interlibrary Loans: New ILL requests are paused, and significant delays are expected for in-progress items.
- Rural branches receiving materials via Canada Post: Branches such as Port Renfrew, Bella Coola, Sandspit, Daajing Giids, Port Clements, and Masset will experience delays.
- Magazine subscriptions: New deliveries are disrupted at all branches.
- BC One Card materials: Delays or disruptions in lending and borrowing continue.
We apologize for any inconvenience or challenge this may cause our library users. We’ll continue to share new information as the situation with Canada Post evolves.
