Book Lovers Day Giveaway

It’s Book Lovers Day on August 9 and to celebrate, we’re doing a giveaway that’s all about celebrating our collective love of reading.
We want to know the best book you’ve read so far this year and we’ll enter you into a draw for one of three prizes. The first name pulled will win a pair of unisex book nerd socks and a bookmark from our 3D printer. Two other winners will get a 3D-printed bookmark.

Giveaway Details
Giveaway dates: The giveaway starts on Book Lovers Day August 9, 2022 and ends Sunday, August 14, 2022 at 11:59 pm.
How to enter:
Answer the question in the post on the Vancouver Island Regional Library + Fans Facebook page.
No purchase necessary. Adults 18+ can enter. One entry per person.
Entrants must also live within the Vancouver Island Regional Library service area to be considered and must be able to pick up their prize at their local branch.
Winners must answer a skill-testing question in order to claim the prize.
Three winners will be drawn at random from the entries on social media. The draw will happen on August 15 and the winners will be notified by direct message on Facebook AND announced on our social media pages during the week of August 15-19.
Employees of Vancouver Island Regional Library and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter the draw.
Prizes:
The first winner drawn will get: Unisex bookish socks (value: $15) and one 3D-printed bookmark (value ranges, under $5)
The second and third winners will each get a 3D-printed bookmark (value ranges, under $5).

By entering this contest, you agree to have your name published on platforms owned by Vancouver Island Regional Library, such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, the website and our e-newsletter.
You agree to by the official rules and the decisions of Vancouver Island Reginal Library as it relates to the draw, which shall be final in all respects.
VIRL reserves the right to refuse, withdraw or disqualify any entry at any time at its sole discretion.
Winners must claim their prize within 30 days of initial attempted contact. If the original winner cannot be contacted within that time frame, or if a winner is disqualified, a secondary prize winner will be chosen.
All entries become the property of VIRL.
The draw is hosted by Vancouver Island Regional Library and is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook.
