Winter Issue of Sea & Cedar
February 15, 2022
Nanaimo, BC – After enjoying success with the launch of the inaugural issue in the summer, Vancouver Island Regional Library (VIRL) is excited to announce the winter issue of Sea & Cedar magazine is just around the corner. The digital version will be available starting February 22 and a limited number of print copies will be released shortly thereafter.
“We set a high bar with the first issue of Sea & Cedar and this second edition continues to showcase powerful and evocative writing,” says April Ripley, Customer Service Librarian, and founder of the magazine. “The range and depth of the submissions were outstanding. While we could not publish all entries, the team thoroughly enjoyed reading every piece and I would like to thank everyone for submitting their work. Readers are going to be captivated by the quality and variety of writers living in our service area.”
For the winter edition, a limited print edition will be available for checkout in the library in the coming days and some copies will also be available as prizes on social media. The digital version can be viewed here starting February 22.
