New Features in Libby

One of the most popular ways for our customers to access OverDrive eBook and Audiobook collections is through the easy-to-use Libby app.  Available for Android (version 5+), iOS (version 10+), and through your web browser at libbyapp.com, the developers of Libby are adding new features all the time.  Here are a few recent updates:

  • Wish Lists: use the “Tags” feature keep track of books you would like to read in the future, but aren’t ready to put on hold yet
  • Multiple Cards: customers who share a device will appreciate being able to add and rename multiple cards, including cards from more than one library
  • Highlight, Define, Notes: great for students, you can now annotate books and download your notes
  • Open Dyslexic Font: easier to read option for readers with Dyslexia
  • Enhanced Screen Reader Compatibility: including labeled buttons and images
  • New Magazines: Maclean’sHello! CanadaToronto Life, and more
  • Coming soon: “Recommend to Library” feature and additional accessibility options
