Learning with Syeyutsus offers live-streamed, lunch-time events, which are recorded and available for ongoing educational purposes and deeper learning.
This FREE learning series is proudly presented by the Nanaimo Ladysmith Public Schools, in collaboration with UBC Press and Vancouver Island Regional Library as part of our ongoing commitment to the TRC Call to Action #57. Together, we are seeking to promote a deeper conversation towards rebuilding our relationships with Indigenous peoples and the Land for a stronger Canada.
Syeyutsus is a hul’q’umi’num expression for “walking in two worlds”: living and honouring the teachings of the Land and First Peoples, while navigating the ever changing complexities of today’s world and society.
The 2025 season of Learning with Syeyutsus begins January 23, 2025.
You can view past seasons here and by clicking on the “All Seasons” tab.
