DESCRIPTION:Calling all kitty angels! The Quadra Island library is hosting a Giving Tree to collect donations for Quadra Cat Rescue this holiday season. \nFrom December 1 to 31\, the tree\, festooned with images of cats and kittens that have been helped by local volunteers\, is a reminder of the ongoing need to manage the cat population on Quadra Island. Stop by the library to leave your donation of cat food at the Giving Tree or leave a gift card donation with Library Staff. Gift cards to Quadra Builders\, Shar-Kare\, Canadian Tire\, Superstore\, and Walmart will be used to purchase kibble and canned food as well as wood pellets for kitty litter.
