There will be paint and bingo stampers, pencil crayons and stickers, glitter and glue to help you decorate a jar-shaped slip with your name and age and something memorable about your Reading Club experience - the name of your favourite book, or your favourite place to read, a memory of the summer, or just something you think looks cool. We’ll then put it in the jar along with all our readers’; then next year at the start of the next Summer Reading Club, Librarian Meredith will display this year’s messages and memories to cheer on next year’s readers, new and returning. Aug 15th (Thurs) @ 3:15 Aug 17th (Sat) @ 3:15 Notes: Children under 10 should be accompanied by a responsible adult If your child cannot attend but wants to leave a slip in the memory jar, there will be slips left at the SRC table that can be taken home or done in the library when convenient and will be put in the jar afterwards.
