Program description: This semester, the SRLL Book Club will dive into The Ministry for the Future by Arthur C. Clarke Award-winning author Kim Stanley Robinson. With its scientific accuracy and striking non-fiction descriptions, this is a compelling look into the world’s climate prospects. Former U.S. president Barack Obama named the “cli-fi” novel one of his favourite books of 2020. The VIRL collection has paper, e-book and audiobook versions as well as a book club set that will be made available.
