Marine biologist, wild seaweed harvester and author Amanda Swinimer shares her knowledge and passion for seaweed in this special three-hour workshop. Learn about the tremendous nutritional and health properties of seaweeds and the critical role seaweeds play in the health of our planet and in regulating climate. Participants will learn about a variety of local, edible seaweed species, how they are sustainably harvested and their culinary uses. This workshop includes tasting seaweeds that Amanda has wild-harvested and a seaweed hand-soak.
