The Repair Cafe North Saanich and the Sidney / North Saanich Library Teen Advisory Group (TAG) are joining forces to offer this special pop-up event at the library (10091 Resthaven Dr.).
What is a Repair Cafe?
Community members are invited to bring broken or damaged items to to the Cafe where volunteers can help fix them.
The aim is to keep items out of the waste stream and share knowledge and repair skills. Good for the Earth and for your wallet!
There will be a variety of fixers on hand that can help with things like: bicycles, clothing, jewelry, small appliances, sharpening, furniture and computers. Check https://repaircafenorthsaanich.ca/ closer to the event for a complete list.
Refreshments will be available by donation.
You can also bring items that can be ReUsed or ReCycled like: printer cartridges, felt pens, unwanted prescription eyeglasses, disposable masks and gloves.
