The Mid-Island Babywearers are a babywearing group based out of Vancouver Island, BC, Canada. Our group encourages the practice of babywearing (carrying children in a wrap or baby-carrier) to promote healthy development and loving connections between a caregiver and child.
More than just babywearers, we are a supportive community group. We offer support for all caregivers and their families. Everyone is welcome in our community!
Our volunteers and trained babywearing educators are on site to provide drop-in consultations and to assist with carrier fittings. Our lending library items are available for use and loan via the public library meetups.
