SUMMARY:Living Library
DESCRIPTION:What would it be like to sit down with someone you might never otherwise get to meet\, to safely have those conversations you never get to have? \nNow’s your chance to find out! \nFor one day only\, we are opening our bookshelves so you can spend time with “Human Books”! \n“Read’ one\, or “read” them all… a fresh perspective awaits. \n—– \nWe are excited to share the news about the upcoming Living Library event we are hosting at Campbell River Pride. \nInspired by the Human Library Organization\, a Living Library is a gathering of living “Books” (people) who are eager to share their stories in a welcoming and safe space to foster engaging dialogue and personal connections with interested “Readers.” \nBook Titles will be announced ahead of time.
