SUMMARY:Human Stories: Meet real people. Hear their stories. Discover new perspectives.
DESCRIPTION:At this event\, the library’s books are real people\, and reading means having a conversation. Instead of checking out a traditional novel\, you are invited to “borrow” a fellow community member for an afternoon of one-on-one dialogue. Join us to “read” their lived experiences\, passions\, and perspectives by simply sitting down together. It’s a unique chance to ask questions\, listen\, and turn the pages of someone else’s life in a welcoming and respectful space. \nInterested in becoming a “book” on our shelves?\nIf you are interested in sharing your story\, come at 1:00 PM for a friendly introduction. Learn how the process works\, ask questions\, and see if being a “human book” is something you’d enjoy. No commitment needed — everyone is welcome!
