DESCRIPTION:First steps for new writers: a workshop with published author Colleen Nelson. \nFree! Drop-in at the Cowichan Library! Monday July 27 2:00pm – 3:30pm. \nDo you have an idea percolating? Do you love to put pen to paper? Do you have a journal full of ideas you’ll get to “one day”? Well\, today’s the day! If you’re interested in writing but don’t know where or how to start\, this workshop is for you. Taking the first step on a writing project can seem daunting\, but it doesn’t have to be. This workshop will focus on the basics. What does it look like to write? How do you start? What goals can you set? How do you stay motivated?
