Virtual Workshop: The Making of the 2023 BC Summer Reading Club Artwork!
Do you love to draw or are dreaming of a future involving creating beautiful images for books? Join us virtually with paper and pencils on July 27 at 11:00am for a drawing workshop with Summer Reading Club illustrator, Jeni Chen.
Find out how Jeni got inspired for BC SRC 2023. She will share her inspirations for the artwork and how she chose the 7 different dinosaurs by researching and reading books from her local library. The workshop will end with a live drawing demo/exercise.
In addition to being our 2023 BC SRC artist, Jeni is also the author of Emet’s Box.
This is a virtual event best suited for ages 5-8 years.
