Come to the library to help create a collaborative climate change-themed art piece that will be displayed in the Sooke library in honour of Earth Day! Inspired by The Tempestry Project—a collaborative project combining art, environmental education, and climate activism through data representation—but using paint and paper from discarded books, our art piece will represent daily temperatures in our area from 50 years ago and from last year. This is an all-ages project, but adult assistance is required for children.

Opportunities to contribute:

  • Thursday, April 11 from 3-5 pm
  • Sunday, April 14 from 1-4:30 pm
