Join the Blue Pencil Posse Writing Circle!                     

Wordstorm Society of the Arts and Vancouver Island Regional Library invite writers to register for a FREE six-week interactive writing circle lead by poet and author, Richard Stevenson.

In these weekly two-hour online sessions, you’ll learn tips for improving your work, have an opportunity to share and develop your writing, and get to socialize with other writers. Open to writers of both fiction and poetry.

Registration for the writing circle will be limited to 15 participants and will open following the information session on January 23rd. Slots will be filled on a first-come-first-serve basis.

When: Saturdays, February 12 – March 19 (6 weeks)

About Richard Stevenson:

Richard Stevenson recently retired from a 30-year gig teaching English, Business Composition, Technical and Creative Writing for Lethbridge College in southern Alberta and moved to Nanaimo.  He has published thirty-one full-length works, including a CD of jazz and poetry, a novel, and a memoir, and has recently turned his attention to speculative literature.  His most recent books include a long poem sequence, Rock, Scissors, Paper: The Clifford Olson Murders (2016) and a collection of haikai poetry,  A Gaggle of Geese (2017).  Forthcoming titles include  a trilogy of cryptid, ET and Fortean lore, Cryptid Shindig: A Big Book of Creeps and Critters, a stand-alone sequel,  An Abominable Swamp Slob Named Bob, and  a lyric/haikai collection for children, Action Dachshund!
