Spooky season has finally arrived! Submit your spooky story or poem for a chance to win a prize basket worth $50 from local retailers! The spookiest story will be published in the Halloween edition of the local newspaper!!!
- This contest is for children and youth ages 8-18 (see contest website for categories).
- One story submission per writer.
- Maximum 800 words.
- The story must be your own work, an original or a retelling in your own words.

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS: October 13th by 8:00pm.
You can submit your story by:
Completing an entry from and dropping off your writing in person at Library branches in Comox, Cumberland and Courtenay.
Or
Filling out the online entry form and attaching an electronic copy of your work at cvllc.ca/spooky-scribbles.
Winners will be announced on October 25th!
