DESCRIPTION:Queer Crafternoon is a free drop-in art space for queer\, trans\, and two-spirit folks of all ages along with their friends and family to craft\, create\, and connect! \nJoin us for a fun and creative afternoon of crafts and making connections! Whether you’re a seasoned crafter or a beginner\, everyone is welcome to come together in a safe and inclusive space. Let your creativity flow as we work on various projects and enjoy each other’s company. Please feel free to bring your own craft supplies & ideas\, and some additional craft supplies will be available too! \nSnacks and tea/coffee provided! \nThis is a drop-in event\, come and stay as long as you’d like. \nCome relax and unwind with us as we create art\, make new friends\, and celebrate our queer identities. Queer Crafternoon is a safe and inclusive space for all queer and trans people to enjoy arts and crafts and build community. \nThis program is presented by PFLAG Nanaimo and the Nanaimo Harbourfront Library.
