Proof of vaccine is no longer required

Proof of vaccination no longer needs to be shown for those over 12 attending an indoor program.

Masks are no longer mandatory

Masks are no longer required in our branches in accordance with the Provincial Health Officer’s changes to COVID restrictions, but you are welcome to wear one if you’d like. You can read more about the province’s changes here.

Meeting rooms and in-branch programming

The Provincial Health Officer’s recent announcement around occupancy restrictions and social gatherings means we can return to holding in-branch programs and offer meeting rooms to the public in many of our branches. Contact your branch or follow them on Facebook to find out what’s happening.

Print Your Vaccine Card Free at Your Library

VIRL is waiving printing fees for customers who need to print proof of vaccination cards.

There are currently no overdue fines on library materials. However, we ask that you still return your items by their due dates so others can enjoy them.
