B.C. Women's Institute, Cobble Hill Chapter - Donates record of group's history

The Cobble Hill chapter of the BC Women's Institute has donated a copy of the book that records the organizations' history.  100 Years of B.C. Women's Institutes 1909 - 2009 and the companion volume: 100 Women of the British Columbia Women's Institute 1909-2009.  Pictured here are members Jessie Anderson and coleague, presenting the books to Library Manager, Judy Baxter.  The Vancouver Island Regional Library already keeps a copy of the history in our special BC Northwest History collection but this is located in our Nanaimo branch.  Now we will keep these copies of the 2 books in our reference collection for indivicuals in this area to enjoy.  Thank you for your thoughtful donation.
