We have meeting spaces available at the following branches, which can be reserved when not in use by the library:

  • Nanaimo Harbourfront – Small meeting room with maximum capacity of 6 and a large meeting room for up to 80 people.
  • Nanaimo North – (Visit the Nanaimo North branch page to book a room at this branch)
  • Courtenay – One meeting room with a maximum capacity of 30 people (seated) and 50 (standing). Chairs, tables, and AV equipment available upon request.
  • Cowichan – One meeting room with a maximum capacity of 30 people (seated) and 60 (standing).

Note: Rooms are available to be booked free of charge for community or not-for-profit groups.  For-profit groups are able to book the rooms for $30/hour.  Groups are not allowed to sell products or charge admission for events on library property.

We can book up to 3 months in advance and we limit groups to 2 uses per month.
