Reading Tails

Read a good tale to a furry friend with a real tail! Children enjoy a 15 minute one-on-one reading session with Talini the dog. This program is designed to increase a child's reading confidence by offering them a non-judgemental new friend to read to.  Talini is a St. John Ambulance therapy dog specifically trained to work with children. Her gentle nature makes her a perfect fit for children, including those that are fearful of dogs.

Children must be accompanied by an adult.  Adults may stay with their child while they read or wait in the library.
