David Fraser will be reading and performing work from his latest collection After All the Scissor Work Is Done, as well as some of his favorite poems and selected explorations of possibility in form of new works in progress. Following the reading, there will be an opportunity to talk poetry and poetics in a relaxed Q and A session. Bring your brown bag, your queries, and your answers. We might explore the following: Why does poetry matter? What is the state of poetry amid the chaos all around us. As poets and readers of poetry, how can we stay balanced, be in the moment, and feed our creative souls… and more.
