Fees and Charges
The Board charges various fees and charges as per the Library Act.
Overdue charges
Late Charges on Adult Materials

Maximum Late Charge
The maximum late charge is $10.00. Your balance must be less than $10.00 in order to borrow library materials. Your borrowing privileges will be suspended if you have $10.00 or more in late charges.
Damaged or Lost Materials
Lost materials are charged the full replacement cost, plus the overdue charges and the processing fee.
Processing Fee
The processing fee is $8.00. All lost items are subject to a processing fee.
Replacement Library Cards
Adults: $2.00
Children: $1.00
Fines are not charged to Audiobook users, shut-ins, shut-in volunteers, or Books by Mail customers.

Inter-Library Loans

Suspension of Borrowing Privileges
Anyone owing $10.00 or more in fees and charges loses their borrowing privileges.
